Comments from two Ontario travellers addressed to their travel agency. We have had a week in paradise, perfect weather. We are a familiy of
"15", with 7 adults and 8 little ones! Sylvie have been the
perfect hosts. Puerto Morelos in a wonderfull little town better than we could have
hoped for. Good food & shooping. Thanks for all you have done to make

( 18-12-04) Thanks to meeting Gordon & Andres, they introduces us to this lovely B&B. The breakfasts are great Sylvia! We will definitely come back to Pto. Morelos! Howard & Barb Hillorn ( Duncan B.C. Canada) Subject: Comments made on our last trip. Mrs Diana, Now that cold and throats problems are over. It is a pleasure for me to make my promise comes true. I think these comments should also be directed to your Trip Wholesaler in Toronto, so to make it easier for every body involved, I will use the best written English I can use.. As far as planification, preparation, administration of our trip previously cited, everything was well done up to your professionalism and competence. Transportation : The flight details were well look into (…) no problem with the air transportation portion going and return. Where we had a serious encounter is with the welcoming organisation and the returning transport to and from Puerto Morelos. Representatives were not at the airport at all (…) the transportation company was supposed to wait for us with a sign bearing our names. They arrived 45 minutes later. On our departure, the minibus that came to pick us up was very crowded. We had to pass over the feet of the already seated persons in order to find a small portion of the seat. (…) Local lodging: Casita del Mar Our host, Mr. Luciano Bono was simply marvellous. He helped us all the time facing local difficulties (…) The All Inclusive system (…) I do not recommend to any new comers who never tasted the Mexican food in the past. The service was poor and the food very repetitive. The menu was incomplete and we could not use different items even if we wanted to pay extra. Anyhow, the waiters spoke virtually no English at all. SUGGESTIONS FOR LOCAL WELCOMING, TRANSPORTATION, LODGING AND OTHER SOLUTIONS TO UNFORSEEN ENCOUNTERS. There is a lady by the name of Sylvie Laforce, originally from Quebec and presently a retired employee from a major flying company. She masters FRENCH, ENGLISH, SPANISH. She drives a local efficient, economic little car. She can transport (2) visitors from Airport to their chosen hotel. She owns a Bed and Breakfast house with 3 rooms only. She entertains excellent business relations with most of Puero Morelos Hotels Administrators with whom she refers travelers who prefers different location. I think we have discovered in her a : "top public relation person for the area" We suggest, if she could be of any help for local advices, she could be your local representative for Puerto Morelos, Cancun and probably Playa Del Carmen. We were very pleased by her personality, her charming welcoming and we met people at our hotel who were referred and transported by her. They told us they could have not found a better efficient hostess. Emile and Isabelle
